Description
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide: a chain of 15 amino acids corresponding to a partial sequence of body protection compound (BPC), a protein first isolated from human gastric juice. It is supplied by Northbond Peptides as a lyophilised acetate salt in a sealed 5 mg vial.
About the compound
The peptide has the sequence Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val, a molecular formula of C62H98N16O22 and a molecular weight of 1419.5 g/mol (CAS 137525-51-0). Its proline-rich sequence makes it unusually stable for a short linear peptide, and it is readily soluble in water and common aqueous buffers. BPC-157 has been the subject of a body of preclinical research in the published scientific literature.
What you receive
- One sealed glass vial containing 5 mg of BPC-157 as a white lyophilised powder
- Batch number printed on the label
- Access to the batch certificate of analysis
Quality and testing
Each batch of BPC-157 is supplied with a certificate of analysis (COA) showing its purity by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and its identity by mass spectrometry. See how we test for more detail, or contact us if you would like the certificate for the current batch before ordering.
Storage and handling
- Store the sealed, lyophilised vial at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture.
- Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening, to limit condensation.
- Once in solution, keep refrigerated at 2–8 °C and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
- Handle using standard laboratory practice, including gloves and eye protection.
Delivery
Dispatched from Newcastle upon Tyne by Royal Mail Tracked 48 (£3.80) or Tracked 24 (£5.45) once payment has cleared. Mainland UK only. See shipping and returns.
Research use only
BPC-157 is supplied strictly for in-vitro and laboratory research. It is not a medicine, has not been approved by the MHRA, and is not for human or veterinary use. We do not provide advice on use.
